When We Wore The Crown

I remember when girls with self-respect and class were in style.
It took more than a smile and some bundles to touch our soul.
You couldn't step to us on some "bad bitch" jazz.
We'd call our cousins, uncles, big brothers or our Daddy to handle you and teach you how to treat a QUEEN.
It took chivalry.
I miss you.
I miss the way you commanded respect by how you carried yourself and wore your crown.
YOU set a standard.
